Pony Party Menu Ideas
Horse theme party menu ideas
Fun is on the menu for your horse theme party when you add a splash of creativity to
the food you serve.
- Have fun with food coloring. For a pink cowgirl party, you can add a few drops
of food coloring to vanilla pudding or tapioca. For a princess pony party you can
do the same, but use green to make dragon pudding, or purple to make. Be
sure to add candy sprinkles.
- Bale some hay. To make things extra horsey, make coconut haystack cookies
(they look like little bales of hay). Shoe string potatoes also work well for
lunch.

Menu tips for your pony party:
- Think small. Kid friendly food is always served in small portions, and finger
foods are easiest. Hungry Party goers can also have second helpings so you
don't have to feel like you're skimping. Keep kids' Party food simple. Even if
your kids eat healthy year round, let them indulge in delights of Party food.
Offer them small portions of a variety of foods (healthy options, like carrots,
apple, celery, and popcorn), and add fun foods like ice cream sundaes,
milkshakes, puddings, gelatin desserts, candies, sugary drinks and cookies.
Serve fun foods in interesting containers.
- Hungry as a horse. Wise up an remember to serve the parents and chaperons
at your horse themed party. At minimum, provide them with beverages and a
slice of cake.
- Garnish foods with Party frills at every opportunity. Get out the crazy straws,
paper umbrellas, and frilly food picks. Find special beverage glasses and
appetizer plates.
